Basement Finishing Building Permit

A building permit for basement finishing or a basement renovation is required when: walls are added or removed; plumbing is added or altered; heating system is modified.

Most basement finishing projects will require a building permit from the Town of Caledon. Any electrical work requires a permit and inspections from the Electrical Safety Authority.
