Inspire Homes Nominated for Business Excellence Award

For most people, getting a call from their banker is bad news – there’s a problem with your account, or they’re trying to sell you something.  So it was a pleasant surprise when I got a call from my bank manager a few  weeks ago, telling me she’s nominating Inspire Homes for the Caledon Business Excellence Awards.

Well, it wasn’t entirely a surprise.  I met Clelia Spina, Branch Manager at Alterna Savings and Credit Union, many years ago when we both had a booth at the local Home Show.  Since then, she has never missed an opportunity to promote our business.  For example, Clelia has invited me in as a guest speaker at their home renovation seminar, and invited us to set up a cabinet display in their branch as part of their home renovation loan promotion.  And now, of the many worthy businesses that bank at Alterna, she has chosen to nominate us for the Business of the Year Award.

We’re honoured to have been nominated, and privileged  to have a great bank manager supporting our business.
